The Body Doctor to expand further in the retail sector

 

The Body Doctor has announced the appointment of Matthew Blakely as its new National Accounts Manager for Retail. He will be responsible for overseeing all retail accounts across the company’s growing brand portfolio, including its flagship eye care range, The Eye Doctor and the recently launched menopause brand, M-Club.


Matthew’s proven ability to build strong, lasting relationships and to drive sales performance will play a key role in supporting The Body Doctor’s continued expansion in the retail market.

He joins the company with over a decade of experience in sales, account management and retail growth and he has worked with some of the UK’s most recognisable fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and pharmaceutical brands.

Matthew has consistently delivered results across major national retailers, including ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Superdrug. His career highlights include being recognised as National Account Manager of the Year in both 2022 and 2024, and leading teams that have achieved consistent year-on-year sales growth.

Matthew’s expertise spans everything from negotiation and strategy to new product launches and customer portal management.
