SOTI and Advantech Unite to Tackle Critical Device Management in Healthcare, at HETT 2025
Leaders from both organisations will share expert industry insights and demonstrate device management systems at key healthcare conference and exhibition
At the Healthcare Excellence Through Technology (HETT) Show 2025, SOTI, a proven innovator and industry leader for simplifying business mobility solutions, has joined forces with Advantech to address the healthcare industry’s need for smart, scalable and secure systems which improve patient care whilst also protecting their data.
SOTI’s latest research, which surveyed 1,750 healthcare IT professionals from across the globe, found that the UK’s healthcare sector is modernising with artificial intelligence (AI). Nearly all (94%) reported using AI in 2025, compared with 47% in 2024, signalling that budget priorities are shifting towards integrating new technologies that improve efficiencies and IT capabilities.
However, almost all UK health IT leaders surveyed (99%) reported challenges with legacy systems, IoT and telehealth, with two-thirds (64%) frequently facing downtime and tech issues. Nearly half (43%) say legacy systems make networks vulnerable to attack and 84% admitted to experiencing a system breach in the last year.
To help tackle these challenges, healthcare organisations can now benefit from Advantech’s deep sector expertise paired with Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) tools from SOTI that enable the quick and easy deployment of devices and inspire data-driven decision-making by improving access to actionable insights. SOTI MobiControl provides much-needed visibility and control over devices, including tablets, wearables, smart printers and scanners; how they’re performing and what security or compliance risks they’re facing. By harnessing real-time diagnostic intelligence and analytics to support IT teams to solve issues before they occur, SOTI XSight also streamlines the use of mobile devices, ensuring critical healthcare applications and patient data are available at the point of need.
Jon Charters, Key Account Manager at SOTI, said: “Our recent healthcare study showed that there is still a long way to go for the sector to ensure consistent uptime and full compliance and security for devices used every day. By combining our mobility management tools with Advantech’s specialist guidance, healthcare organisations gain the expert insights needed to apply them effectively – reducing costs and complexity while delivering greater efficiency, improved patient outcomes, and long-term value.”
Neil Ellis, Key Account Manager at Advantech said: “At Advantech, we’re committed to enabling smarter, safer, and more efficient healthcare through trusted, innovative technology solutions. Together with SOTI, we empower care teams with secure and seamless mobility to support better patient outcomes.”
SOTI and Advantech will be demonstrating how healthcare organisations can streamline their operations and maintain data security at the Healthcare Excellence Through Technology (HETT) Show 2025, 7-8th October 2025, on stand number B44.
