AIO Conference scheduled for 11th and 12th October in London
The Association for Independent Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (AIO) will hold its 69th Annual Conference at the Victory Services Club (VSC) in London on the 11th and 12th of October.
This truly independent event, headline sponsored by The Eyewear Company, has a packed agenda with 16 CPD points available over the two days. A wide range of subjects will be covered from Vision and Brain Injury, Eyewear and Sports Performance, the Infrared Revolution and Eyesight, to a fascinating session on the future of AI in eye care.
The opening address at the Conference will be from Leonie Milliner, CEO and Registrar at the GOC and there will be a presentation on the new supervision option of Clinical Learning in Practice (CliP) from the College.
There will also be great business presentations including a session on marketing and practice optimisation.
There will be a Dinner at the VSC on Saturday evening as well as an exhibition and a student stream on Sunday 12th October.
As ever, the Conference is a great opportunity for catching up with old friends and networking with fellow independents.
